In-Kind Donations

We understand that many non-profit organizations rely on in-kind donations to support silent auctions, raffles and sweepstakes. In response, every year we provide Montage Laguna Beach gift certificates to support Orange County, California non-profits in their fundraising efforts. We are pleased to make these gift certificates available to organizations that meet our eligibility requirements.

Eligibility & Application Requirements:

Eligibility Requirements: 

1. The organization must be non-profit, with 501 (c) (3) status or an application on file to become non-profit.
2. Organization must serve the community at large.
3. Have a non-religious primary purpose
4. Preference will be given to:
   
   1. Small arts organizations or other community based organizations with an established, distinct, arts component program.
   2. Education and literacy programs
   3. Children and youth
   4. Health and medicine
   5. Hunger prevention
   6. Environmental preservation and conservation
   7. Senior citizen care

Typical non-profit organizations ineligible for donations:

1. Athletic events, competition or tournaments
2. Conference/seminars
3. Individuals
4. Libraries
5. Museums
6. Religious, political or sectarian organizations
7. Research programs
8. Scholarships or stipends
9. Start-up programs
10. Grant making organizations (other foundations)
11. Schools, colleges or universities (outside of the Laguna Beach School District)
12. International or foreign-based programs

Application Requirements:

1. In-kind donation requests must be received at least three months in advance of event date.
2. Requests must be typed and presented on the organization's letterhead. No handwritten applications will be accepted.
3. Project or program descriptions must be specific and detailed to the actual applied use of the funds raised.
4. An email and/or return address must be provided

Understanding there are so many worthwhile organizations, regrettably, we are unable to provide donations to the same organization twice.
